We could walk everywhere from here, and the place was very clean. We stayed in #4, a small apartment that worked well for me and my two kids. It had a balcony, and the goat was very attentive. The bathroom was small, though that seems true of everything in this town. Parking is down the street by the beach, about a four-minute walk away.

Flat No. 5 is a charming little place for up to two people, right in the old town of Nafplio. Shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, and a supermarket are all close by. It’s one of three self-contained flats with a shared stairwell. The flat has the basics, including an electric countertop cooker, kettle, utensils, and fridge, plus AC in the bedroom.

The bathroom was the worst I’ve ever seen, and there’s no parking!

The location is the one good thing about this apartment. It’s only average, in my opinion, and I don’t understand Google’s rating, so I’m giving it one star to bring the overall score down. The place felt uncomfortable and run-down, and it didn’t look like the photos. On arrival there was a strong cat urine smell. The stovetop barely worked, so heating water could take an hour, and the bathroom was tiny and awkward to get into. Wi-Fi was either absent or disconnecting every couple of seconds, though it worked from the other side of the house. It also wasn’t very clean, as the photo shows. We booked for three, but only one bed was made and there were just two spoons. Getting arrival details from the owner was difficult too. To me, it felt like a tourist trap.
