The last bit of road up to the hotel is narrow and very steep, so be prepared for that. Once there, though, it’s hard to find fault: the room was large and impeccably clean, the balcony stretched along it and had great bay views, and the location was central. The staff were really friendly, and it’s great value for money.

The room was clean, and so were the towels and bed linen. It’s spacious and pleasant, though basic, with comfortable beds. The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, oven, electric stovetop, kettle, lime squeezer, cutlery, plates, and pans. The cutlery is limited but okay. Heating comes from the air conditioning. The electric water heater needs to be switched on 20 minutes before each shower, and tap water isn’t drinkable. The main drawback is the location at the top of a slope, which is hard to reach on foot. We had a car, so that wasn’t an issue for us. There’s parking on the premises, with room for about 7-8 cars at most.

Mama Vasilis was the sweetest, most attentive and helpful host and manager we met during our two-week trip around Greece. The hotel room was spacious and clean, with a kitchenette, and the towels were soft and nice. This place was more than I expected, and I totally recommend staying here in Nafplio.

We only needed two nights, and it was perfect. The rooms were huge and exceptionally clean, and everyone was so friendly. The hotel sits up on a hill, with beautiful views, but it’s still just a short walk to the Old Town and restaurants.

The room was comfortable and very clean, and housekeeping did a great job each day. The bed was soft, so we slept really well. The hotel is nicely decorated and looks elegant. Staff were friendly, polite, welcoming, and always smiling, and the service was really good. We stayed in this hotel in Nauplio for a few days and had a very good experience. I’d definitely recommend it.
