Pension Eleni

Our hosts were wonderful, and I’d gladly choose this place again. I stayed one night in a double room with a balcony and beautiful views. The room was perfect, and they’d left a kettle, tea bags, cookies, cups, bowls and cutlery, handy for a snack or breakfast on the balcony. Thank you.

After staying at five places in Greece, this one was our favorite. The top suite had a fantastic view, plenty of space and good air conditioning, and felt very worth the money. Public parking is a two-minute walk away. We tried all three restaurant recommendations, Alaloum, Aiolos and Vyzantino, and they were fantastic. Alaloum was my favorite, thanks Frosso! I highly recommend staying here in Nafplio.

The building has the feel of a traditional family home, which really makes you feel you’re in Nafplio. Our room had character, with colourful painted walls that made for a lovely atmosphere. The host was so friendly and made us feel at home right away. It’s very close to town, but the street is quiet, and there’s a sea view. Parking availability was reasonable even at peak times. I’ll book early next time to avoid possibly missing out.

Eleni is a national treasure, and the staff are lovely. This may be the best guest house in all of Greece. It’s perfectly placed near everything, yet very quiet, and the views are great. It’s worth paying extra for a room with a deck.
