The room numbering gave us a laugh, with rooms 300 and up on the second floor. That's about the only real gripe. This is a stylish, functional hotel with all the amenities, a generous pool, and an excellent breakfast. The rooms have what you need, especially if you book one with a balcony. Its location outside Napflion is handy when driving to sites, since you can avoid town traffic and parking hassles. It isn't what Google, that absurd Americanism, would call cozy.

It was peaceful and relaxing outside town, with open spaces and pretty grounds. We enjoyed the breeze coming into our room from the balcony. There was a nice range at breakfast and dinner, too. Try the sour cherries by the jams and marmalade, and the sour cherry juice at the breakfast bar. A very nice hotel.

A beautiful garden to sit in with a book, and a great breakfast, made this a lovely stay. The hotel has a classic historic feel. It's close to Nafplio town, and a good choice if you're travelling by car. Loved every minute.

The pianist was the bright spot of our visit. He was excellent and genuinely kind. The hotel itself is stylish, and the pool area looks great for summer, but the stay fell apart for us over the staff's cold, indifferent manner. They seemed disengaged and in need of training in guest service and empathy. I'm surprised by all the recent five-star reviews, since honest feedback helps people decide where to spend their money. I wanted to give two stars, but the lack of warmth made it hard to rate the place higher.

We had a spacious room that opened onto a small courtyard, and the Wi-Fi was OK. The hotel has a pool and gym, and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. Our stay included buffet breakfast and dinner, both with plenty of choices. The dessert selection at night was hard to beat, though we weren't sure how to order drinks. It's a large hotel outside town and generally very quiet, although tourist buses can make it busy.
