Hotel Roussos Beach

The rooms are basic, though the place was clean and the sea views were lovely. Our balcony was partly blocked by walls jutting out on both sides, and there weren’t any lounges to spend time in. It felt more like a pension or guesthouse. At €190 a night including taxes, I didn’t think it was worth the price.

Our balcony looked straight over the beach, which was right across the street. Falling asleep to the wind and waves was lovely. Friendly service and a tasty breakfast buffet made this a five-star stay.

The room had everything we needed for seven nights and was super clean. Staff were so friendly, and you could tell they wanted us to have a nice vacation. There’s a great car, scooter, and ATV rental place nearby, as well as a supermarket. The hotel is right in front of the city beach and about a ten-minute walk from the restaurants and shops, which meant we could enjoy some quiet at night.

The Roussos Beach hotel is just across the road from the beach and about a ten-minute walk from Naoussa, with its elegant center and plenty of nice restaurants. It’s family-run, and everyone was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast buffet was nice, especially the fresh Greek yoghurt and pastries. The beach sunbeds outside were pricey, at €30-100 a day. We went across to the Calypso hotel veranda beside the sea instead, found a shaded table, and spent the day eating, drinking, and dipping in and out of the water. For a more local experience, renting a car for at least a day isn’t expensive, and you can visit some of the other coastal villages for dinner. They’re less touristy and cheaper. We had a great stay.
