We stayed for five nights in July during our Greece holiday, with two suites for the six of us. The cleaning ladies were really nice and the only people who always greeted us with a big smile. The rooms were nice, but we found ants many times and had to call for them to spray. Breakfast was okay, though the woman organizing it could have been more pleasant. She always looked moody, and we never saw her smile. Our arrival was very disappointing. We had elderly parents and two kids with us, and the hotel, Hotel Papadakis, has about 70 steps. We knew roughly how many there were, but not how steep the path up to it would be. It's very steep, dangerous, and not suitable for elderly guests or young children. We expected someone fit to help with the suitcases. Simos, the receptionist, didn't greet us with a smile and was arrogant. He didn't want to help much, and we had to argue because our parents couldn't lift the luggage, especially as our 75-year-old dad had a broken toe. He eventually carried one suitcase up. He said he had knee problems, but the hotel should have had someone else available. The argument and lack of help ruined our arrival, and we never got a sense of hospitality. Owners who care about negative feedback should train their staff, especially the receptionist, who is the first person guests meet. You also need to lock the balcony windows, since people can easily get in from outside and there's no safety fence. The location is great if you're young and fit, just a few minutes down the steep hill from the beautiful center. It's a pity that the accommodation we'd looked forward to wasn't pleasant or up to our standards. Many people have written similar things about the hospitality here. I hope they learn and improve. A smile is free!

The breakfast was amazing, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice, and the hotel felt like great value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my tidy, clean room had a lovely balcony and a view over the sea and town. It's an easy walk into town, and I had a wonderful stay. I'd absolutely recommend it!

The best part of the place was Helen and Anthoula. They were warm and helpful, took care of everything we needed, and made it feel like we had a little family to return to each day. The upgraded rooms are beautiful, and the whole property stays very clean. From the beanbags you can see all over Naoussa, a beautiful spot for sunset. The pool area is gorgeous too, with a great bar for drinks and food. It's conveniently in the lively center but far enough away to escape the noise. Everything was perfect. I've never looked forward to returning to a place as much as this hotel!

Simos was a great host and had really helpful suggestions. The renovated rooms look beautiful, and the service was fantastic. The views are fantastic too. It's a short uphill walk from town, but close enough that it isn't too bad.

The sea view suite has gorgeous traditional whitewashed walls and looks out over the water and sunrise. The hotel sits on a hill overlooking Naoussa, with downtown just a five-minute walk away. Prices are reasonable for the area, and you get a lot for your money.
