Anassa Suites

The owner and staff were so friendly and attentive, and always ready to help with requests. My partner and I spent a week at Anassa and loved the room, the bed, and the location. We had sea and port views right from our balcony, which made staying in feel peaceful and enjoyable some days. The bed was especially comfortable, a big deal for me because I often have back issues. The cluster of units sits right in the middle of town, with views all around and everything close by. We hope to return.

The manager was attentive until I paid. After I described the problems, I never heard back. I can't recommend these apartments for a holiday. The apartment we were given was in a dark rear block, not the reception building pictured on Booking, and people could access it straight from the street. That left us feeling unsafe. The supposed garden view was just badly kept bushes. The clothesline and mosquito net were broken, and the chairs were rusty. Towels were very worn and fraying. They didn't make the bed, just left the sheet for us to do ourselves. Mobile data didn't work and the wi-fi was very weak. There was also a power cut one night. I'll attach photos to show why the stay at Anassa Suites was disappointing.

The rooms look modern and are really nice, top notch. Internet was decent for Naxos, especially with the general slowdowns in summer. The hotel only offers the room, with no extra services. That was fine for us, though anyone with mobility problems might want to avoid these rooms.

We stayed in the apartment during the first week of Mai and had a really nice time. It was clean and stayed that way, and we got fresh towels on several days. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Thanks so much for a lovely stay! Rob and Mariëtta
