Apollon Hotel

Hotel Apollon suited what we needed at a very reasonable price. We wanted somewhere safe for two women travelling together, with a clean room, private bathroom, air conditioning, and easy access to the places we planned to explore. We spent most days out and just wanted a comfortable place to sleep, without lots of extras. The staff were friendly and helpful, and someone was always around, which made us feel safer. The facilities were clean and cute, and reminded us of Hotel Bella Donna from Mamma Mia! It was a great stay for travellers who want more privacy and a sense of safety than a hostel, without needing loads of amenities. They’ll also hold your luggage if you arrive before check-in or leave the island after check-out.

We took the bus to beaches during the day and walked to restaurants at night. The area felt charming, and we felt safe walking back after dark. The hotel is close to the main bus terminal and within walking distance of everything in Naxos Town, with a location and value that are hard to beat. The front desk was friendly and helpful, and so were the cats. We enjoyed our stay.

The hostess was extremely helpful and accommodating, and the hotel has a boutique-chic interior with an authentic Naxos feel. There’s heavy wooden furniture, and some rooms have excellent sea views. There are several very friendly cats around, and the breakfast option looks good too. It’s close to the port and all the important parts of Naxos town.

A very nice hotel, not far from the port. Lady Despina, the owner, knows Naxos inside out, from the places worth seeing on the island to the best restaurants in Chora, the port, and the capital.
