Spiros and his team of 'ladies' deserve a mention. The owners take real pride in what they do, down to providing a dark flannel for makeup removal so the white towels stay clean. Staying here felt like a taste of the real Greece, with a great breakfast and lovely rooms. It's quiet but still close to everything, with a beautiful beach and the main town just a few minutes away on foot. Getting here from the port on foot is quite easy.

This family-run hotel offers excellent service and thoughtful attention. The staff are very friendly, and it's well placed for walking from the port. The views are incredible, with one of Naxos' beaches right behind the hotel. The room I booked was spacious and very clean, with all the amenities, and the breakfast was spectacular, with traditional homemade dishes to try. It really feels like home. Also, very importantly, it's gay friendly.

There were three of us on a girls' trip, and we're so glad we picked this hotel. Spiros, the owner, was the kindest person we met during our trip. He clearly loves the island and gave us great suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and he made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, the mattresses really comfortable, and the location was perfect, just across the street from a beautiful beach and a 10-minute walk from the main town. His recommendations were so good that we only wished we'd had more time to try them all. We'd definitely come back!

What made Georgia Mare unforgettable was the care from Spiros, his lovely wife and their wonderful daughter. My partner and I stayed three nights, and from the moment we arrived, they made us feel like part of the family. I've never felt so welcomed and cared for. The staff were just as lovely, always friendly, helpful and smiling, and you could tell they wanted to make our stay special. The hotel itself is charming, comfortable and relaxing. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area who wants to feel truly welcomed.
