We booked four nights in Naxos hoping for a relaxing stay, but left right after checking in and forfeited €650 because the room was in an unacceptable state. We arrived late in the evening after a delayed ferry. The room was not clean, with what looked like cockroach droppings on the walls, exposed nails, and an empty soap dispenser in the bathroom. Basic hygiene and safety standards weren’t met. It felt more like an overpriced backpackers’ hostel than somewhere suitable for a family. They offered us a larger room, but the condition of the first one left us with no confidence that an upgrade would be any better. With hungry kids and no time or energy for more disappointment, we left and booked elsewhere. It was a frustrating and expensive experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this property to families or anyone expecting a clean, well-maintained place to stay. EDIT: After I left my review, the owner falsely accused me of breaking a chair and ripping two sheets, more than a week after our stay was supposed to end. She demanded €200 for these bogus claims but provided no photo evidence. If there had been any damage during our brief 10-minute presence at the property, surely it would have been reported to Booking.com right away? We gave up a four-night stay. This is not Greek hospitality. Avoid this place at all costs, and don’t be misled by the five-star reviews.

Alexandra was very helpful and even offered to drive us to the port. We had a great stay at this beautiful hotel, which is within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. Highly recommend it if you’re going to Naxos!

The room was very well priced and breakfast was included, which they brought right to my room. Georgia was super welcoming, and I really loved staying here. It’s ideally located on a quiet street, five minutes from the main beach and a 15 minute walk from the old town. Highly recommend!

The first two days were wonderful, thanks to Georgia’s hospitality. My girlfriend and I were warmly welcomed by her at the front desk, and she kindly offered us a free room upgrade. Then we found out Georgia had been dismissed, and the manager began causing serious disturbances, calling the police two days in a row. It created stress and confusion for Georgia and the guests. We were also concerned to find the main entrance locked, which meant we had to leave through the basement. In a fire or earthquake, evacuating through the basement could be dangerous, especially if that door happened to be locked too.
