Porta Marina

The staff really made this stay for us. Maria welcomed us with a treat, shared useful tips about the island, and kept checking whether we needed anything. You can see how much care she puts into the hotel, right down to the details. The rooms are modern and spotless, the walk-in shower is fantastic, and the air conditioning works great. It’s just beyond the ferry port, at the edge of town, so we could walk everywhere. This is my second trip to Naxos and I’m staying here again. A definite 10 out of 10.

When my wife became ill on our last night, the hosts arranged medication, let us keep the room longer, and helped us catch our ferry. They were so kind and took great care of us. The whole stay was comfortable, from the immaculate, thoughtfully designed rooms to the terrific breakfast each morning. We also had beautiful sunset views across the water, and the location made it easy to explore Naxos. I’ve stayed in some wonderful places around the world, but Porta Marina Suites was the best. The service was first-class, and I’d recommend it without hesitation.

Maria was such a lovely host and went out of her way to make our stay memorable. Nothing seemed like a problem for her. The attention to detail here is superb, and this is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. If you want luxury in Naxos, this is the place.

We were here for our 10 year anniversary, and as people who travel often, we both felt this was probably the nicest hotel experience we’ve had. It’s more of a B&B, in a great spot by the Naxos ferry terminal and bus terminal. We could walk anywhere in the Naxos chora, and there are several rental car businesses nearby. We spent our days exploring and could easily come back to shower, rest, or change outfits.
