Marathon Beach Resort

Breakfast was the one small downside: pretty basic and repetitive. Otherwise, for a 3 star hotel, I thought it was more than adequate. The location is great, and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially lovely Evelyn at the front desk. The grounds were constantly being looked after, and housekeeping came every day. I really can't complain about cleanliness or maintenance. I just got back from a week's stay and wanted to share my honest opinion. Thank you Marathon Beach Resort.

The pool area was lovely, though the water was quite cold. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was fine, with bread, cheese, bacon, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, salad, and cereal, though it was the same every day. The rooms are basic, with one pillow each, weak shower pressure, and old, cheap doors and fixtures. The hotel is nicely located near restaurants and bars.

The pool area was fun, and the kids enjoyed our stay before the flight. We were there as a couple with our two children, aged 16 and 11. It's a very family-friendly hotel, with a tennis court and a varied breakfast served by the pool. The location worked well for us, close to Athens and the promenade, with lots of restaurants nearby.

Our 6-year-old son loved the playground and played there every day. The resort was very family-friendly, and we're already planning another visit. My wife, our son, and I had a relaxing, enjoyable stay at Marathon Beach Resort in Greece. The reception team were warm and helpful from the start. They helped with our booking and showed us around, which made us feel at home. The resort looked beautiful at the entrance and was well cared for. Our spacious room was spotless and comfortable, with a super king-size bed that gave us a great night's sleep. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with healthy choices and plenty of treats. The bar had a wide range of cocktails, carefully made. We can't recommend Marathon Beach Resort enough for families looking for a high-quality getaway.
