The host was so friendly. I’d left my adapter at home, and a few minutes later he brought one over for me to borrow. The Villa looked just like the photos and was beautiful. We had a really lovely vacation and will come back next year. The view is gorgeous too.
Upstairs are two twin bedrooms, both with amazing views. The house is beautiful, and the garden, with its grass, was lovely. The garden view is magnificent, the pool is small-looking but more than adequate, and the loungers and chairs are top quality. The kitchen had all the ingredients. We left very happy and loved our stay. There's hardly anything to criticize. As one other guest mentioned, there aren't any sharp blades, and the cupboards only had three hangers. Let them know if you need more.
We came to Kalma Villas for the first time in early September with our two children, aged 3 and 5. When we left, the kids started crying. The best part for us was the setting. It's right by the sea, with olive tree tops and the open blue water as the first thing you see from the bedroom. The shared terrace outside the two upstairs bedrooms has a table and sofa, and in the evening you can watch the sea and sunset with a glass of wine. It's also incredibly quiet and clean. The owner and staff were friendly and accommodating. The landscaped garden has nice night lighting and rye grass where the kids could run and play. The pool was clean, and our five-year-old daughter learned to swim there for the first time. There's also a charcoal BBQ in the garden for evening get-togethers. A well-stocked supermarket is one minute away by car. The villa had everything we needed for a family holiday. The living room smart TV had channels in different languages, and the stereo was great for Greek music. The bedroom TVs take a flash drive, so you can play films or children's cartoons before bed. In the kitchen there was a large, quick-cooling fridge, a modern stove with four burners and an oven, a microwave, a Dolce Gusto capsule coffee machine, plus all the cups, plates, utensils, pots, and pans we needed. There was a washing machine, iron and board, a baby chair, comfortable mattresses, and separate air conditioners in every room. A wonderful place, with a unique view, peace and quiet. After staying at Kalma Villas, it's hard to imagine choosing anywhere else. Here are some pictures to show what I mean:
We were two families with a two-year-old, and this was just the right place for us. The accommodation was nice and clean, close to town and lots of beaches. There's also a small beach within walking distance of the villas, though it has no sunbeds or umbrellas. The pool was amazing, and Mario was very friendly and helped us a lot. There's a supermarket about ten minutes away on foot or one to two minutes by car. The area is very quiet and the view is amazing. I strongly recommend this place, it's great!
You'll need a car, but the region is truly amazing, and I'd definitely recommend renting a boat. The house has lots of large, clean rooms, a lovely living room, and an even nicer garden with a small pool. The view is stunning. Marios, the owner and host, is a great guy who clearly puts a lot of enthusiasm into his work. That's how he keeps the place so clean and nice, and he's always ready to help guests. I hope to come back one day.
