There were some good parts to the stay. The room and balcony were spacious, the air conditioning worked fine, and dinner at the hotel bar and restaurant was good, with good service. The bedding was changed every 2-3 days. There’s a pool, though we didn’t use it, and access to the private sea area with a deckchair and umbrella. The beach is stony, though, and walking barefoot really hurts. The bed was just about comfortable enough. The main reason I chose the hotel was its location, and I paid for an unobstructed sea view. I was greeted with “I remember you,” which didn’t feel friendly after I’d had credit card problems and the hotel wanted to cancel my reservation. I think they tricked me and didn’t give me the room I paid for. The photos below show the view I actually got, and I was extremely disappointed by the treatment. There were other problems too. The shower tray was chipped and the water pressure was poor. During one weekend, we had no hot water for three evenings in a row. The hotel was full, and I was told the water was heated by the sun. The soap they provided was disappointing, though I didn’t need it since I’d brought my own. Only one of the room’s two outlets worked. The furniture was old, and a shelf in the dresser broke when I put a blouse on it. This hotel didn’t deserve 4*, and guests shouldn’t be misled about that. Greece is a beautiful country, but it’s a shame a place like this is allowed to operate.

The staff were so pleasant and accommodating, and breakfast had a nice, standard selection. With the beach right in front, I could often have the whole stretch to myself. It’s a wonderfully private spot for a quiet break and proper rest. There’s a pool that looks lovely at night, but I didn’t feel I needed to use it. A very pleasant, relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

We ended up staying just one night of the five we’d planned, mainly because it was hard to find another place. We’d already left another hotel nearby early because we were unhappy there, and it seems the same approach is common across the area. This bungalow is very old and neglected, with years of maintenance missing. The website photos don’t match what’s there. For example, the wooden tables on the pebbles are in such poor condition that nobody sits at them. Facilities are almost nonexistent: there’s a shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the bathtub, plus soap that barely foams. The pool bar feels more like a camping site, as does the reception, which is outside under an awning. The internet simply didn’t exist. Cleanliness was average, with only the bare essentials done. Breakfast was satisfactory but nowhere near what you’d expect from a 4* place. The Balkan service employee didn’t speak Greek!!!! At reception, a foreign employee told us the price was so high because “everyone sells the same in the area.” It was outrageously expensive. I wouldn’t pay more than €60-70 for bed and breakfast. This hotel does not meet the 4* standard advertised on its site or accommodation search platforms.

What a shock! The pool had a strong bleach smell and a strange cloudy color. My orange swimsuit even turned yellow. The rooms were very old and dirty, and the air conditioner didn’t work. We didn’t touch the buffet because everything looked old and disgusting, so we had to go out for breakfast. At checkout, we refused to pay for that awful breakfast. The staff got rude and insulting, and they didn’t give us any receipts. Stay away if you don’t want your vacation ruined like ours…
