The houses themselves are nice, and Nea Vrasna is lovely, but our stay was a real disappointment. The pool wasn't available for two days of our trip because it hadn't been treated safely before we arrived, and there are hours when you can't use it. Privacy was another problem. Staff could enter easily, and they never let us know when they were coming to clean or take out the trash. The houses are next to other homes, and even small noises seem to bother the neighbors. I wouldn't choose this place for a holiday with friends.

Everything else was excellent, but I can't give five stars when our room had no proper windows. I think our accommodation was 104. It had one bedroom and a living room downstairs, with another bedroom upstairs. The downstairs bedroom had no natural light. The bathroom and toilet each had a tiny window, about 10x20cm, and the rest of the room was enclosed apart from a matte glass pane facing the upstairs bedroom. To get fresh air, we'd have had to leave both bathroom and toilet doors and windows open, which wasn't effective, or leave the front door and bedroom door open, which wasn't effective either and isn't something I'd recommend while sleeping. The upstairs bedroom had a large window overlooking the pool, where splashing could be heard. It was the only other window that opened in the whole unit. There also weren't storage compartments or bedside drawers, just night tables. I'd rate the place 4.5 if I could. I removed my comment about the pool because I thought it was an oversight, but I understand the filtration has to run 24/7.

The house didn't feel secure: the outside walls are only half a meter high and face the road. There was no clear communication with staff or set times for cleaning or entry, and anyone could come in at any time. The new building also makes poor use of space. There are no closets or shelves for clothes. In the kitchen, the induction cookers worked very badly. There was only one pot with a lid, and it wasn't suited to that stove. We couldn't use both burners at once because one of them would switch off.

The manager was the best in the city, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful, very clean, and had a nice view. I recommend this place for a perfect vacation.
