A lovely outdoor garden, a good breakfast, and rooms cleaned daily. The hospitality was unique, the people incredible, and it was definitely worth what I paid. I'd return to this property again and again. I've been coming for six years because it's a little paradise. Just look at the other comments and you'll understand. I was there when the group who left rude comments stayed. When I booked, the room looked just like the pictures. These young people should understand that this is a budget choice, so daily towel changes aren't something you can expect. The owners also can't be expected to tolerate selfish, unreasonable demands. That night, pool staff handed towels to everyone, including them. I heard the guests were charged for three days while they ate, and the polite owner let them leave anyway. They chose to go in the middle of the night, throwing gestures and towels in the owner's face and spitting vulgarly in their language. Then they threatened to post bad reviews everywhere and get their friends to do the same.

The room and property also had some physical drawbacks: old, dirty-smelling furniture, dusty drawers and cabinets, and a very steep, badly maintained road uphill. The place has potential and would be better with different owners, but I would tell travelers to stay elsewhere. We booked seven days and left after three days, two nights, in the middle of the night. It felt as if we were being thrown out. We asked for clean towels and a shower curtain, since the bathroom got wet all over whenever we showered. After that, the staff were extremely impolite and told us that if we didn't like it, we could leave. At checkout, they wanted the full seven-day price, which was unacceptable. I've never had an experience like it; after traveling a lot, this was by far my worst stay anywhere. We were shocked again when we returned for personal belongings we'd left behind in our hurry. The owner threw our things through the door as if we were animals, shouted the f-word and angry Greek words repeatedly, and threatened to call the police. For what, asking for clean towels and a dry bathroom? Some guests by the pool saw it and can confirm what happened. It's sad to be treated this way on holiday when you're bringing them business. If I could, I'd give the hotel zero stars for its rude staff.

The road up to the hotel is in awful condition, and the rooms have old furniture and tiny bathrooms without shower curtains. Everything gets wet when you shower, even the toilet. Breakfast was very basic, mostly sweets and no hot dishes. The staff were rude and had such a bad attitude toward guests. Don't book here if you want a good holiday.

The garden is beautiful, with a pool and a lovely view, and the lady who welcomed us was very sweet. The price isn't bad for the quality and services, but there's room to improve. Getting there is tricky. You need a good car for the difficult uphill terrain, and using the single access road over and over can be a pain. The Wi-Fi and my mobile network both barely worked inside. The old furniture and small, poor bathroom aren't suitable for a tall person. The bed had turned yellow with age and use, and the pillow was stiff, though the sheets were clean. Watch out for mosquitoes and other bugs. I saw spiders and a large centipede crawling on the walls. Breakfast was pretty bad too. There were two of us and we got a plate with very few items, the same amount I saw served at another table. The person serving said we could ask for more, though.

The view and garden are wonderful, but the duvets smell bad. There are no window screens, so mosquitoes come into the rooms in groups. Cats can get in too if you leave the balcony door open, and they sleep on the sheets, even on the second floor. Breakfast isn't good if you're looking for healthy, nutritious food.
