Tasoula Studios & Apartments

The noise made it very hard to sleep. The walls and windows seem paper-thin, so traffic and neighbors sounded as if they were in our room. Tasoula Studios is right by one of the island’s main roads, with lots of traffic, and there isn’t a beach within walking distance. The website says the sea is 200m away, but there’s no way to access it. We were disappointed as soon as we arrived because the room wasn’t clean, especially the kitchen and utensils. We didn’t use them at all. After I complained, the host stopped replying to messages. We felt so uncomfortable that we left for somewhere else, even though the host didn’t refund us. We’d rather pay double than stay there.

For what we paid, €430 for seven nights, the low price and the terrace’s fantastic view were the main positives. We were 14 people and rented four rooms. They made an exception for our dog, which we appreciated. It’s not the worst BnB for a two-star stay, but the rooms felt made for dwarfs. Towels and sheets weren’t changed, and the floor wasn’t cleaned during our stay. The bathroom also flooded across the whole floor every time we showered. I’ve added pictures for reference.

The owner was so kind and friendly, and the woman who cleaned our room each day was lovely too. We had a two-bedroom apartment with two bathrooms and a kitchen equipped with everything. The terrace had a great sea view, plus a table and very comfortable chairs. The hotel is in a very quiet area, with the sea right beside it. We had a great time and would happily go again. It was a decent place. They brought us fresh towels every other day and changed the bed sheets every three days.
