Tesoro Hotel

The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, plus an incredible view. The way they’re arranged makes the hotel feel like a little village of its own. The staff were friendlier and more attentive than anywhere I’ve experienced. It’s a great base for exploring the island, with the beach within walking distance and the city and supermarkets easy to reach. For value around Lefkada, this is hard to beat. I absolutely recommend staying here.

We were there a week ago as part of a tour, and the travel company chose the hotel. The location was quite good, but the breakfast was terrible. The bread was moldy, and they didn’t even check it for mold, let alone make a decent breakfast. We also had no Wi-Fi in the room, no hot water, and at least eight spiders sharing the room and bathroom with us. A long list of problems.

We were treated with contempt from the moment we arrived at Tesoro Hotel. The owner was cold and arrogant, and the behavior felt discriminatory. We didn’t feel welcomed as guests or treated with basic respect. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who cares about hospitality and respectful treatment.

The room was okay, and breakfast was very good. Some staff were lovely, though others could be rude. The road nearby was loud and dirty, so relaxing by the pool wasn’t really possible. We wanted dinner one evening, but nobody came to serve us. Service was poor overall. The price was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend the place. I also asked the staff to mail our postcards. They seemed surprised by the request, but said they would do it. None of the cards arrived, so I think they may simply have said yes without sending them. They could have told us they don’t do that, and we would’ve gone to the post office. The communication was very bad.
