Villa Sivilla

The setting is pretty, but there's not much around, so you'll really need a car. Getting up to the villa means tackling a steep driveway, and the roads down to the beaches are steep too, so a car with an automatic transmission or a very good clutch is important. Inside, the place is large but dated, with worn kitchen facilities, TVs that don't get reception, old beds and mattresses, curtains, and uncomfortable, tired furniture. The outdoor furniture is also in poor shape, especially the sunbeds and mats. The balcony view is lovely, though the lower balcony by the bedrooms has no furniture. There are four ensuite bedrooms, but the indoor stairs are difficult for children and anyone with mobility issues. The whole villa needs modernising. A fresh coat of paint, new mattresses and pillows, and replacing the outdoor furniture each year would help make it more comfortable. I wouldn't recommend it.

The view was brilliant and the location was perfect. It could hardly have been better.

A spacious villa with a nice setup and plenty of things provided.

There are loads of places to sit and spend time together, and the villa is a great size. The pool area is brilliant too. The bathrooms could use an update, but otherwise we thought it was great. It's high up a big hill, so I'd suggest hiring a car or a boat to get around. The area is beautiful, with some nice restaurants. There's also a good bus service on the main road, so have a look at that.
