Alexandros Villa

Alexandros was such a kind host, always available when we needed a hand. His villa is lovely and well-appointed, tucked away in a quiet spot but still an easy walk to the beach and a very good restaurant. Kissamos is a short drive away for shops, banks, places to eat and drink, and boat trips. Chania airport is straightforward to reach via the main highway, and the villa makes a great base for exploring western Crete. Efharisto Alexandros, we'd happily recommend a stay here.

We found Villa Alexandros very private at the end of a little lane, and Kissamos is only a few minutes away by car. Just across the road there’s a beach, plus Blé and the great restaurant Porfira. The villa itself feels bright and modern, with everything we needed, a lovely pool and a fantastic hot tub. Alexandros was incredibly friendly and helpful, and even brought us delicious pastries. Book with confidence, we were very happy here.

Alexandros made us feel welcome from the start, with helpful tips and unexpected treats, including a stocked fridge and kitchen, delivered cake and a parting gift. There was also a full clean midweek with fresh towels and linen. The villa was beautiful and well cared for, with comfortable, clean rooms and all the facilities we wanted: pool, hot tub, BBQ and gardens with mountain views. The beach and three tavernas are only a few hundred yards away, where you can watch the sunset over the bay. It’s a lovely spot for an easy day by the water, pool or taverna, and a convenient base for western Crete’s main sights, all within about an hour’s drive. Kissamos is around 10 minutes away with plenty of shops and restaurants, plus boat trips from the harbour. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely book again.

The house and garden were clean and so well looked after, and the pool was amazing. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Thank you, Alexandros, for everything!
