Stamatela Studios

It's a really good location near the main beach, with a nice view. I gave it only three stars because the internet didn't work and the bathroom wasn't clean, though I might be picky about that. There didn't really seem to be a reception either, since I think the host's English isn't very good.

The views are a major highlight at Stamatela Studios. From the balconies and terraces you can see the sea, mountains, and olive groves, with Bella Vista peak visible from the flower filled terrace behind the villa. The shared terrace in front has tables, flowers, and an olive tree, making it a nice place for a meal together. There's also a barbecue there, and a small private parking area below the terrace that's free for guests. The villa is surrounded by olive trees, as well as orange, lemon, and grape plants. The villa sits in a quiet spot in the west of Paleokastritsa, about five minutes on foot from the main beach, Agios Spirydon. It has eight rooms, four upstairs and four downstairs, all with sea views. The studios are spacious and bright, set up for two people, and have air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, and a private balcony. There's internet access, and guests can use an outdoor pool for free at nearby Ariana villa. Tavernas and supermarkets are also close by. The rooms are fairly simple rather than luxurious, but have what you need: cookware, glasses, cutlery, a kettle, sandwich maker, microwave or electric hob, and fridge. Hot water is always available. Air conditioning is free with no restrictions. Wi-Fi is free too, though the signal isn't great and the speed is modest, enough for email and Facebook. Each room's balcony is separate, even though the balconies share a terrace, so you can socialize with neighbors if you like. The road gets steeper as you come up from Paleokastritsa's main road, which could be hard if you're tired. The climb is rewarded by the panorama from the terrace and room balconies. The villa is family owned, and the landlady, a cheerful and kind woman, may be around tidying the yard, terraces, or rooms, or she may be an invisible presence.

Wow, this place was amazing and romantic. My girlfriend and I had a blast here on vacation. It's a perfect little spot near the beach, in a very friendly neighborhood. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great.

Spotlessly clean, with friendly owners and everything well equipped. The views are fantastic, and the beaches are only minutes away. Just perfect!
