I had the worst vacation of my life here. After several nights of getting bitten all over my body, I couldn’t sleep in the room. I first suspected mosquitoes, then found bedbugs under the mattress and took photos on my phone. I slept on the floor that night. In the morning, I told the hotel administrator about the problem and said I wanted to check out immediately, even though I had booked several more nights. She didn’t apologize, and instead caused me a lot of stress. She didn’t believe me or the bites until I showed her the photos. Even then, she wanted me to pay for the whole booking, while I insisted on paying only for the nights I’d stayed. I hope they managed to get rid of the bugs. My stay and the way the administration handled the problem were both very bad.

The sunny terrace and great shower were lovely, and the place was spotlessly clean, with linen changed every two days. It’s quiet and conveniently placed for the supermarket, bakery, beach, and restaurants. Staying at Manos Studios really added to how much we enjoyed our week-long holiday.

That bright green emergency lamp above the bed couldn’t be switched off, and it was so strong we couldn’t sleep. We felt like we were in a hospital, and having that awful light on 24/7 left us nervous and tired. The bathroom lighting was too dim, too. The host’s English was poor and she didn’t understand us. She smiled and suggested calling some guy after two days to translate and help solve problems. We had to use Google Translate or show pictures to communicate. There was no cleaning for several days. When we asked for the trash to be taken out, she said, “We clean every day!” and went outside to show us the bin. Of course, nobody came to our room that day. The sheets and towels weren’t changed until day six. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel.

We’ve stayed here three times now. The rooms are spacious and clean, with everything needed for self-catering, though we ate out every night. It’s a quiet spot just off the beach.
