Nicolas Beach Guesthouse

We got such a warm welcome, with a drink and snacks that were just what we needed after an exhausting flight. The fridge was already stocked with eggs, bread, bacon, butter and honey. The apartment had a little kitchen, a huge bed, air conditioning, a small but fully equipped bathroom, a terrace and a balcony. It's a charming little place, really close to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. Kosta and George made us feel very welcome, and we had a lovely stay.

This was our second visit to the charming little hotel, and we'll be back again. The room was clean and pleasant, with a big comfortable bed and basically everything we needed. It's very close to Paleochora's sandy beach. The fridge was stocked with eggs, water, juice, rakii cheese, bread and butter when we arrived, and there was also jam, honey, sugar, coffee, chocolate powder and lots of fresh fruit. In the room we had a coffeemaker, kettle, toaster, hairdryer, soap and towels.

The guesthouse felt anonymous, with an unmanned reception and no personal contact person except by email. Room 2 was very dark, and the thin walls made the whole building noisy. We could hear the guests upstairs, for example in the bathroom and toilet. The coffee had unfortunately run out too. It didn't meet our expectations, but thanks anyway.

Pantelis gave us the best hospitality 🙏🙏. Everything was neat and clean, and the service was excellent!!! The beach is only five minutes away. It's also a great spot if you want to take the ship from palaioxora to Gavdos!!!
