We spent six nights at FabView Studios in mid-August 2023, and the reasonable price was a real highlight. The studio looked like the photos, and the strong WiFi was a huge help for us as digital nomads working remotely. Onsite support was friendly throughout. We had a few maintenance issues, though, and had to work around a temperamental water heater and a sun umbrella stand that needed attention. A car is highly recommended for a comfortable stay. The bus stop for the island and the next village is a 20-minute walk downhill. We chose not to rent a car and walked up and down, which was manageable since we worked on our laptops all day. We could still get to the village for a nice dinner or go swimming in the ocean. If you arrive without a car, you can call the host, who’s willing to pick you up on arrival day on the way up the hill. It’s a good value option in Crete if you’re on a budget and keep the transport and small maintenance issues in mind.

The photos match what you get, with no surprises. The host is friendly and helpful, and the place is very clean with a fabulous view. For somewhere near Reythymnon, this is the place to stay :)

The hotel sits on a hill, so you’ll need a car to get there. The rooms are spacious and have all the equipment you need, and the views are beautiful.
