The pool is a lovely place to unwind, with a sea view from its spot high on the cliff. We had to ask for towels because there weren’t any in the room, and the extra bed felt too flimsy for an adult. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the Center, where there are lots of restaurants, mostly on the peer. The owner’s greeting and service felt cold, which surprised me since Cretans are usually very welcoming.

The owners were kind and helpful, and the hotel makes a good base for exploring Crete in any direction. Panormos, with its many Tavernas, is only about 1,5km away. The rooms are modest but tidy and have air conditioning. The large pool was never crowded when I was there, and sometimes I had the whole area to myself. I’d recommend it for a quiet holiday.

The restaurant has a wonderful view, and there’s a pool as well as a beach among the nearby rocks. The rooms are good in some ways, but the cheap one has no curtain or glass in the shower, so water ends up all over the bathroom.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. This is a lovely family hotel in a beautiful spot, and a good fit if you’re after some peace and quiet.

We spent 10 nights here, and my boyfriend and I will definitely come back. The owner was so attentive and lovely, and the view, pool, and food were all amazing.
