Apartments Villa Effie

We had a problem with the shower, but told the guest and it was fixed very quickly. The place is clean, the people are nice, and it’s ideal for a couple or a couple with kids. Restaurants, Romanian and Greek places, and a market are 20 meters away. The beach is close, and there’s a large private parking area 250 meters away.

If you’re mainly looking for a clean, cozy room with a private bathroom to sleep in, plus a nice balcony for evenings between beach days, I’d recommend it. It’s close to the town beach and just 50 meters from the main promenade. It can be noisy, though, so keep that in mind if quiet matters to you.

The location is good and the prices are almost decent, but there were moldy walls and drainage issues. When the room next door showered, the soapy foam came into my room. We got just one roll of toilet paper for the whole 7 nights, and air conditioning cost 5 euro per night. It should be free if there’s mold. I hope they fix these problems in the future.

There are shops and taverns all around, and the place is close to the church. I had a triple room with a big bathroom and a large balcony facing the street. For what I paid, it was great, especially since it's self-service: you clean your room during the stay and can cook in the small kitchen if you don't want to pay for meals.
