We stayed at Atlantis hotel in early September and had a really pleasant time. The buffet had a good range of Mediterranean food, with plenty of fresh fruit and salad, and the service felt fair for what we paid. It’s in a quiet part of Paralia, yet the promenade, shops, restaurants and bars are all close by. Hotel guests could use its own beach for free. The rooms aren’t especially spacious, but they all have balconies facing the sea. I’d happily recommend it.

We visited in May, right at the start of the season, so it was peaceful and there weren’t many crowds. The hotel sits right by the sea, with a lovely view to enjoy.

The food was awful, cold every time, bland and repetitive. I couldn’t find anything edible and lost 3 kilos during what was supposed to be a holiday. The pool was there, but guests weren’t allowed to use it. In the dining area it was overcrowded, and staff kept shouting. They were rude and aggressive throughout, always yelling, and I felt genuinely intimidated. One woman in the canteen, sorry to say, acted completely insane. The rooms seemed meant for two, but they’d crammed in so many beds that there was barely room to move or put anything down, even though 4-5 people were expected to stay in them. I felt like I was in prison. The bathroom was tiny, the shower had no door so everything got soaked, and the room doors were bizarrely designed and difficult to get through. The bathroom door had no lock and wouldn’t even close properly. This holiday was a nightmare. Thank God I got home. I’m never coming back.

We arrived from Ohrid in Macedonia at 11 pm after booking the room while on the way, and they welcomed us with a smile without any trouble. The room was clean and nice, just as we’d expected, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good overall, with lots of desserts, though there was usually only one meat option.

Our room had lovely uninterrupted sea views from the balcony, and it was fantastic, with a king-size bed and a great shower room. The food was plentiful, traditional Greek cooking, with different dishes each day. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
