Greek hospitality is well known, and this is a nice hotel. Room 21 was a little too small for me, and the bed felt tough. There’s no hotel parking, but public spaces are about 3-4 minutes away.

The bed mattress and pillows were really hard and quite uncomfortable for us, though not terrible, and I guess some people like them. The room may also be smaller than we’d imagined. Parking can be difficult in full season, especially since we drove south every day to discover new beaches. Otherwise, it was good value for money: very clean, close to the local beach, and the owners were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good by Greek standards. The room had AC, a kitchenette, a TV, and a great balcony overlooking the park.

There’s a big parking lot next to the house, which was a huge plus with Paralia’s narrow streets and how hard it is to find a spot. We were two adults and three kids, and our flat had two rooms, a bathroom, and a small kitchen. Both rooms had air conditioning, though there was a TV in only one, which didn’t bother us. Breakfast was sufficient: yogurt, milk, fruit, cake, two kinds of bread, cereal, boiled and scrambled eggs, baked goods, mini sausages, tea, juice, and coffee. The apartments are especially good for families, with several mini markets nearby, and the center and beach are only a few minutes away on foot.

We stayed for two nights. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was okay, and the location is good if you don’t mind a five-minute walk to the beach. Our room, though, was really small and uncomfortable. The shower had no warm water on two of the three occasions, the Wi-Fi in the room was really bad, and we had to buy our own toilet paper. I really think the place is overrated because the staff are nice, or perhaps the rooms differ a lot.
