Mediterranean Resort Hotel

A lovely, very clean hotel with kind, helpful staff and good food. I’d happily recommend it :)

This place isn’t even worth one star. We waited almost two hours when we arrived because our room wasn’t ready. At the first dinner, the food choices were very limited, and much of it had no labels, so we had to guess what it was. We asked where the water was, and the staff brought a bottle and charged us for it. Breakfast the next day had drinks and plenty of dishes, but dinner was the same as before. When we asked why there were no drinks at dinner, including water, they said the manager had decided there wouldn’t be any. The bar was just as bad. I asked for ice for a drink I’d bought there, and was told I should go buy ice myself. But bringing our own water to dinner was apparently a problem. The pool, if you can call it that, stained me and my swimsuit yellow, and most of the gym equipment was poor. There was mold all over the ceiling. On top of all that, things were missing from our room. Two packs of cigarettes were gone, and it smelled as if someone had smoked in there. Someone had also been going through my cosmetics and makeup: each time we came back from the beach, my makeup bag was open and everything was in disarray.

Our stay felt like a fairytale. The rooms were roomy enough, and you’re close to the beach and just 50m from the center. The staff welcomed us like family or close friends. I can’t think of anything bad to say. Thanks to Stella, our host, for everything. I’d recommend this hotel without hesitation!

We were two adults and a five-year-old, and there was no extra charge for the child. Stella, the hotel manager, was there every day and at all hours, ready to answer questions. The staff were kind and willing to help with anything. The place is just 2 minutes from the beach, and the hygiene was excellent. Breakfast and dinner had a wide selection, with different additions each day, and fish was a regular menu item. The internet connection was also perfect. We haven’t had an experience like this elsewhere in Greece. I highly recommend a visit for the value.
