Enjoy Lichnos Bay Village Camping, Hotel & Apartments A.E.T.E

We expected the standard room we'd paid for, but at reception they asked where we were from and whether it was our first time in Greece. When we said we were from England and it was our first visit, they offered us a free upgrade to a suite with a jacuzzi and a beautiful sea view. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and there was plenty of it. I think they enjoyed spoiling us. The whole stay was incredible, and I'd recommend it to anyone. Camping here was amazing, a perfect place to unwind with that sea view. There isn't individual electricity, but you can charge phones and batteries at the hotel reception. The camp's shared fridges are handy too. 10/10, highly recommend. P.S. Foxes come around at night, so keep your stuff outside the tent safe.

The staff were always smiling and positive, and kept asking what else they could help my wife and me with. Our room was very comfortable and super clean, and it really wasn't expensive, which I was happy about. The buffet breakfast had lots of choices and was all inclusive. We had meat and pasta for dinner, and the kitchen deserves credit. You could taste how fresh the products were. The view is amazing, and it's such a peaceful place. It feels like being in heaven, like I'd forgotten about the world. I'll definitely come back, and I'll tell my family and friends to come experience it too.

The shared fridges are all in one spot, and there was no hot water. On sunny days, you might get warm water if you're lucky. We lost all our food and alcohol on Sunday after staff said they'd cleaned out the fridge, and nobody took responsibility for it. The camping area is very poorly managed, especially if you're in a tent. Tent pitches have no electricity; the other pitches are for caravans and vans, but the bathrooms are dirty and badly maintained, and there's no working fridge nearby. Compared with camping in Halkidiki and other lovely camps in Greece, this was a pretty bad experience. I wouldn't recommend staying on the camping side, especially in a tent.
