The only issue for us was the keys. We were given one key for the outer gate and one key card for the room door and electric operation. With two of us staying, if my wife and I wanted to do separate things during the day, one of us couldn’t get back in first without the key or room card. The place itself is lovely, thoughtfully decorated and renovated, with everything you need. The bed is huge and very comfortable, and I had one of my best nights’ sleep in a long time on the first night. The enclosed courtyard stays relatively cooler than the main street, and our ground-floor room also remained quite cool compared with the 34 degrees outside.

It may be Parga’s oldest “Hotel,” though it’s really a few apartments rather than much of a hotel. The location in the old town is fantastic. The apartments are clean and cleaned daily, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The downside is the kitchen, which only has a two-ring hob and a fridge, so it’s not ideal if you want to cook. Even so, we’ve stayed here four times and will definitely be back.

The location in the old town is superb, with supermarkets, the beach, and restaurants all an easy walk away. It’s very clean, and the linen and towels are changed frequently. I’d return and found it a good base, though information was a little lacking, for example, where to leave the keys at checkout and the WiFi code.
