The view across Parga to the castle is stunning, and the place is so peaceful. Elizabeth made us feel very welcome and went out of her way to accommodate us. Our room was bright and clean, with a really comfortable bed. It’s a little gem, and we’ll stay here again next time we’re in Parga.

The views are spectacular, and the room has a good size and decent facilities. But room 3, where we stayed on the ground floor, had no ventilation at all. The front door sticks to the floor when you open it and squeaks when closed. There wasn’t a quick mop around to clean up bath water. The house isn’t far from the town center, but it sits high up, and the steep hill at the end of the road gets tiring after an evening walk. I wouldn’t choose it as my favorite accommodation in Parga.

The view and Elizabeth’s warmth really set this place apart. My girlfriend and I arrived late after a long day cycling, and Elizabeth welcomed us with homemade cake and sparkling water. She also offered coffee in the morning and brought us a toastie, which was incredibly sweet. She was kind and accommodating throughout, even though she didn’t speak fluent English. Her son spoke great English and was very helpful when we had questions about the area. The suite was spacious for two, with the essentials like a shower, fridge, and clothes line. Elizabeth offered us a very competitive rate compared with other nearby villas. It’s only a few minutes’ walk down to the waterfront and castle. If we’d been staying longer, we wouldn’t have gone anywhere else.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The studios are spotless, have plenty of storage, and the bedroom is separate from the small, well-equipped kitchen. There’s parking in the yard, and the setting is quiet even though it’s close to the center. From the balcony, we loved sitting with a glass of wine and admiring the view over Parga and the castle. A really nice place to stay, and Spiros was a great host.
