Zigouris House

A lovely apartment, with a fantastic view, and it didn’t cost much.

There are plenty of shops and the market just 2-5 minutes away on foot, and the restaurants by the port are about ten minutes away. Two nearby beaches are also around a ten-minute walk. The Luxory apartment was bright and spacious, with two bedrooms, a living room, and a bathroom and toilet for both rooms. It had a dishwasher, washing machine, electric cooker, kettle, large fridge and three TVs. Everything was very clean, with daily cleaning and fresh towels and bed linen every two days. The morning sun comes straight in, and there’s no sunshade. The shop next door also has a compressor that’s very noisy and disturbing.

The staff were nice. I stayed in the three-room luxury apartment on the second floor. It had three balconies, all of them dirty, two TVs but only one worked, and one remote control for the three air conditioners. Booking didn’t show any parking, but on arrival they directed us to a private lot and charged an extra €5 per day. The parking situation was odd: you could find a free spot right in front of the hotel or on the main street near the garbage cans.

The owner was excellent, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. It’s a wonderful, comfortable place for visitors, very close to the centre of Parga.
