Acrothea Hotel

We went to Valtos beach most days by water taxi. Last year we booked a Jet2 package, but this time we booked direct, and this was our second visit. We’ve been to Parga 8 times and stayed in several hotels, but this is the best one we’ve found. It’s probably the closest hotel to the front, with a lovely view over the harbour. The cosy rooms have balconies facing the harbour, comfy beds, a safe, TV, shower, air conditioning, fridge, and kettle. Breakfast is fantastic, with cheeses, cereals, sausages, meat, fruit, and eggs or omelettes cooked fresh. Demitris, the host, is pleasant and helpful. He also owns Sakis, the best restaurant near the castle.

We stayed 8 nights as a family, and the quiet, relaxing feel of the hotel made a nice change from the busy main street just steps away, with its restaurants, shops, and attractions. Each day began with delicious breakfast on the patio, with a stunning view. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning our room daily. Free parking from the hotel made things much easier and gave us peace of mind about the car. Everything was great, and we’d absolutely stay again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

A great pick, with simple rooms that have all the furniture you need and a clean, cool bathroom. It’s 2 min from the beach, with some stairs up to the pedestrian street.

We had the most amazing holiday, thank you Acrothea 😊 The owners are lovely and can’t do enough for you. The rooms were lovely too, and if you get one with a sea view and balcony, the views are magnificent. Perfect place to stay in Parga.
