Sunrise House

The accommodation was excellent, everything was just right. Thanos was so wonderful that I'd put up a statue of him beside the anchor in the center! His mother was extremely friendly too, and clearly takes after him. She bakes very well. We're so grateful for everything!

We’re so glad we made it here! After our 1260 km drive, Thanos was waiting for us with chilled water. He’s a very kind and helpful host.

Room 7 was spotless and cleaned every day. Its balcony had an amazing sea view, the best, and you could see the town from the window inside. The old town, seafront, and restaurants are all close by. Thanos and his mother were so friendly, and he gave us lots of ideas about what to see and where to go. When we left, they gave us a little homemade gift. We loved staying here and wholeheartedly recommend it! 🥰

Parga is built on a hill, so bring comfortable walking shoes. The climb is worth it! The hotel sits above the two bays, beside the old castle, and my balcony had a breathtaking view of the town and sea. I spent two spontaneous weeks at Sunrise House and had a wonderful time. My room had a comfortable bed, bathroom, wardrobe, fridge, and desk. It was simple and functional, with tasteful retro-minimalist decor. There was also a small shared kitchen for quick meals. The hotel doesn't serve food, but tavernas, cafés, bars, and little shops are all around. The location is central but still peaceful, with easy access to both sides of Parga, so you can choose where to spend the day. The host family were warm and helpful throughout. They helped with taxis, local tips, and even laundry, always with a smile. Rooms were carefully cleaned every day without disturbing guests, and I could just let them know if I wanted to be left alone. The relaxing atmosphere made me feel safe and welcome as a solo traveler, and I think couples, friends, and families would feel at home too. It was genuinely hard to leave. Sunrise House offers comfort, lovely views, and warm Greek hospitality. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Parga!
