The calm setting was what I liked most. It’s a lovely place to unwind and take in the natural beauty nearby. The garden and outdoor areas are well cared for, with a welcoming family feel, and everything is simple, tasteful, and comfortable. Kanali Village in Parga is quiet but still close to what you need for a relaxing holiday. The whole property is spotless, thoughtfully arranged, and felt like home from the start. The people looking after it were kind, polite, always smiling, and ready to help. I’d happily return, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, peaceful, friendly stay.

The hillside location means you need to be reasonably mobile, though that applies to accommodation all around the area. The people running the place are really sweet. We stayed in the panoramic sea view room, which had incredible views, and it’s a great choice if you want somewhere well located.

It’s a quiet, pleasant spot near Valtos beach and the restaurants, and the guests were friendly. The cleaning could have been more thorough, though, and the maid didn’t wear a mask while cleaning the rooms. The sheets and towels also looked worn from long use and didn’t seem clean.

Our bedding wasn’t properly changed. One afternoon, we found a crumpled sheet at the foot of the bed instead. The towels weren’t all clean either, about half had stains, and the toilet bowl had yellow-brown marks around the rim, as if it hadn’t been scrubbed properly for a long time. Their cleaning needs to improve.

Spiros is a very kind owner, and the house sits in a yard among olive trees. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to Valtos beach and about 10 minutes to the center. If you’re staying in Parga, this is the best accommodation and location. Perfect.
