These are rooms with bathrooms, not mini apartments, and there’s only space for a fridge and a few dressers. Still, the place is pleasant and fragrant, with daily changes. The family running it were courteous, friendly, and helpful. They even picked us up and took us to the port, then offered us a traditional dinner. When a small A/C problem came up, they sorted it out quickly. The prices are very low, so all in all, a thumbs up.

The location is a 10-15 minute walk from Parikia, with the bus to Punda and ferry to Antiparos stopping nearby. It’s budget-friendly and quiet, just outside town, with a pleasant balcony where you can hear the waves. There’s also a small, uncrowded beach five minutes away. We’d booked an apartment but were given a double room at first. After insisting, we were able to switch the next day when the apartment became available. The kitchenette was extremely basic, fine for breakfast but not for making a proper meal, and the mattresses were uncomfortable.

The family often gave us fresh fruit and vegetables, and they also drove us to the port. Nikoletta and her warm, kind family suggested places to visit and even where to get married. We stayed last summer, and our basic apartment had a wonderful romantic sunset, plus a closet, kitchenette, private bathroom, and a little balcony with a table. I recommend it if you care more about visiting places than hotel comforts. Anyway, delicious!
