Roses Beach

What made our stay feel special was how warmly the owners treated us. They helped arrange a car rental, suggested restaurants and made reservations, and gave us advice on where to drive and what to see. We felt right at home and would highly recommend staying here. The hotel’s exterior is cozy, with a lovely pool surrounded by loungers and hammocks. It’s charmingly lit at night, and there’s a bar that stays open late for evening drinks. Breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day. The location’s excellent too, just a short walk from the beach.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the pool, garden, and views from that area were beautiful. But I can only speak to the “economy” room, and I strongly advise against booking it. Our room was in the basement, felt dated, and had no view. It was also quite dark, with almost no natural sunlight. The bathroom didn’t seem very clean, likely because the drainage was poor, and it badly needed renovation. There was no shower curtain, so after each shower the toilet and pretty much the whole bathroom got wet. The water on the floor never really dried. There was just one hanger in the closet, not enough for two people, and the small rack for drying towels and swimsuits didn’t have much space. The thin walls were the most frustrating part. We were beside the kitchen and breakfast area, so noise started around 6:30-7:00 AM. We could also hear every step in the rooms above us until late at night. Of all the places we stayed during our island-hopping trip, this was by far the worst experience and poorest value for money. The lovely pool area, views, and staff couldn’t make up for that room.

A good value, small hotel with a great pool and outdoor spaces that are well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room had a modern bathroom and fantastic views. It’s a short walk up the hill from the beach, with plenty of cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Effie, the owner, was very kind and accommodating, with such a personal approach. It’s a local family business, and I’d definitely return. The pool area is magnificent, with sunbeds, a bar, and a yoga and relaxation lounge. It’s a little piece of Greek paradise in Paros, well beyond what I expected from a two-star hotel. Most rooms have a stunning view. The main town and local beach are about a 10-15 minute walk away.
