The location was perfect, less than a minute’s walk from the beach walkway, with restaurants, cafes, car rentals, and the beach right there. The owner was welcoming and always happy to help, and seeing her smiling face each day was a delight. We loved staying at Hotel Stergia and would happily return. Our room was wonderful, with a lovely balcony where we watched the sunset over the railing each night. It was delightful to come back to a fresh, clean room every day. Towels were changed every other day. The A/C worked like a charm, even on days when it was close to 40 degrees Celsius outside, and the WiFi had no problems. The family lives downstairs in the courtyard, which looks like it’s seen better days, but they’re renovating many rooms and the courtyard, so I’m sure that will be sorted soon. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

The best.

There was mold on the ceiling, and noise outside the room on most days. On the plus side, the staff were kind, the room was cleaned every day, and the location was good, near the port and plenty of shops.

The manager was kind, and the mattress was good. The location worked well, but there was mold on the bathroom ceiling that dripped all day, and noise outside the room several times during the day.
