Florida Blue Bay Resort & Spa

The town itself is lovely, with excellent sea views and restaurants. The stay was another matter. We got in around 23:00, and the receptionist was really kind, which was the only good part. There were no mosquito nets, so mosquitoes filled the room and we couldn't sleep. The price was far too high for what we got. Maybe €35-40 would be reasonable, though even at that price I wouldn't recommend it.

The pool is beautiful, and the sea is only 50 metres away. It's a good place to unwind, though young people looking for loud music or lots to do might get bored. The hotel could use renovation, but it was clean, the food was good, and the service was second to none. The staff were friendly and helpful about everything, and made it feel like a second home. There are lovely restaurants in the nearby village too. I enjoyed my stay and would go back.

The views and setting are gorgeous, and the pool and beach are just right for cooling off. It's a lovely family run hotel, with amazing staff and incredible food. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean, with air-conditioning and a balcony.

The food was delicious, thanks to the person responsible for it. The rest of the hotel was very poor. It badly needs repairs, and cheap cosmetic work is visible throughout the rooms. It felt as if the hotel didn't care about its customers or need them. On an early trip we were promised a breakfast box, but all we got was a sausage baguette wrapped in plastic. Other hotels gave their guests fruit, cookies and a neatly packed sandwich, so we were sorry to be stuck with that baguette. The hotel bar is hugely expensive, while the cafe 400m away is cheaper. The city is 14 km away, there's little to see nearby, and the beaches are poor and stony. If you want a proper rest, choose somewhere else where you might be treated like a tourist.
