Tsolis Village

The hosts were lovely and always ready to help, and the restrooms and showers stayed clean. We tried both the cottage and our own tent at this fantastic campsite. Even in the heat, a breeze kept the cottage cool in the mornings. The dock was great for jumping, and the power outlets and other utilities were laid out sensibly. The sunsets there were a highlight.

The toilets and showers were the highlight for me. Every time I went, they were clean, and clearly got a thorough clean very often. The showers had plenty of room, there were hooks in the toilets, and I noticed shorter taps for children too. As a woman, I was especially pleased with the bathroom hygiene. I spent one summer night there in my tent. There were lots of tents and camper vans, with what looked like enough space for them. The beach bar and restaurant had nice food at reasonable prices, plus enough tables and chairs around the campsite that people could eat and sit wherever with their friends. I enjoyed that setup. For a proper seaside stay, the beach below the site isn't much. There's just one platform with steps for diving in, so I'd look at other nearby beaches. If you're there to meet people or have fun, staying around the beach bar and the site's centre seems like a good bet. For quiet, pick a spot farther out: it gets peaceful there, with less intense lighting. Don't pitch close to the bar if you want a calm night, haha. I also liked that power sockets were available every few metres, each with its own relay switch. That seemed well thought out. The main staff, separate from the beach bar crew, were disappointing at first. I'd prepaid online, but when I arrived they didn't know about it. There was only a space for one tent far away, even though I had a reservation. I also didn't like some of their behavior and comments, since I was there alone rather than as a couple or group. That awkwardness lasted only the first ten minutes, though. Afterward I didn't need to speak with anyone, and things were fine. I'd come back, and would probably pick this campsite over others in the area.

After the long trip to Greece, this is a great place to spend a few days. The owners make you feel very welcome, the facilities are clean and there's plenty of hot water. You can get typical Greek food at the restaurant, and the pitches along the sea have lovely views. It's always part of our itinerary.

One of the coast's best campsites, in my view. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and the facilities are kept in really good, clean condition. I came with a tent and bike and paid 13 euros a night in June 2025. The moussaka is among the best you'll ever try 😋
