Pedi Beach

Our family had a wonderful time at For the Beach Hotel in Simi, where we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Marco deserves a special thank you for his kindness, professionalism, and genuine care, which made the holiday unforgettable. We enjoyed relaxing days on this beautiful island, and everything surpassed what we expected. We’ll definitely return!

Nearby you’ll find boat hire, car hire, hourly buses into town, a supermarket, 2 tavernas, and a truck-stop-style bar. The drinks were plentiful and excellent value, and all the beers came in frozen glasses, not just the first one as happens in most bars. Breakfast was outstanding, and the daily lunches were great too. The two times we ate dinner at the hotel, the food beat the local tavernas and the restaurants in the port town, a short bus ride away. The staff were what really made the stay. The manager and reception team were always happy to help, and the bar staff were witty, charming, and friendly. We had a relaxed, funny time with a great team. Our modern room was spotlessly clean and had a sea view, probably the best one, right in the middle above the door. Even with all the comings and goings, we heard nothing through the soundproof balcony door. The hotel was in excellent condition, with a stunning outlook over Symi bay and the sea just 25 m from the front door. It’s a great place for a relaxing break in the sun. We went in the last week in June before U.K. school holidays, and the timing was perfect. Of the 10 hotels I’ve stayed in across 6 different Greek Islands, this was the best. The breakfast had loads of variety and was incredible. The manager and front desk staff made us feel so welcome with their wonderful Greek hospitality. The hotel was a highlight of our time in Greece, and I’d highly recommend it.

More than five stars! It’s a wonderfully quiet hotel, with delicious food and a clean beach. The staff were helpful, friendly, and always smiling. 👏👏👏
