Alia Palace Hotel - Adults Only

The room with a private pool was amazing, and the setting had a beautiful atmosphere, a fantastic location, and great service from the staff. Sleep was another matter: the old, uncomfortable beds gave us back pain and made it hard to enjoy the night. The pool was also too cold, and would have been better slightly heated. There weren’t any English TV channels. Reception couldn’t help because, we were told, management had disabled the menu button on the remote, so there was no way to change the language settings. For a five-star hotel, food choices felt limited, and the gym was poor and needs major improvement. I’d give the place three stars.

From check-in to check-out, the service was a big part of what made our stay so good. After we checked in, an employee drove us to our room in a golf cart and even carried our bags inside. The views from both the pool deck and the rooms were stunning. I booked four nights at Alia Palace through LoveHolidays for my 40th birthday. The hotel looked just as impressive as it did on the website, and actually went beyond what I expected. Our room was immaculate, modern, and comfortable, and the facilities, food, and location all felt perfect. I’d definitely come again.

We loved our week there 💕 Katerina was lovely, welcoming, and caring the whole time. She brought us blankets on colder nights, remembered our drink orders, and checked that we had everything we needed by the pool. We had some good conversations, and she also shared local suggestions for bars, restaurants, beach clubs, and more.

The room wasn’t ideal. We had very noisy neighbours, and the bathroom smelled of body odour the whole time, and to be clear, it wasn’t us. The hotel itself was alright, with very friendly staff who were ready to help when needed. The spa is what really makes the place. Elizabeth was excellent with my therapeutic massage, spotting the problems I’d been having with my back. After that I had a lipo facial SPF 30, and it was the most relaxing treatment I’ve ever had. I’d come back just for it. I also had Elizabeth’s detox mud wrap today. She was incredibly professional, and I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout. I can’t praise the spa staff enough. Without them, I don’t think the hotel would impress me.
