Hotel Marabou

You won't find a five-star hotel room here, but the rooms are spotless and spacious. With the beach literally a metre away, you may as well make the most of it! The water at Pefkochori beach is crystal clear, and the location is amazing. Elias and the hotel crew gave us high-quality service, always with big, bright smiles. I already miss this place. Thanks for everything, looking forward to visiting again!

I can't comment on the hotel, but the seaside bar left me disappointed. For the first three days, the price was clearly €10 per person with a drink included. When the dark-haired woman, who I think might be the owner, was there, it suddenly went up to €15 with no explanation. That inconsistency felt dishonest and left a bad impression.

The bathroom shower sprayed in every direction and left the whole bathroom soaked. Housekeeping also came whenever the cleaner felt like it, sometimes after lunch. I waited a full day for a hair dryer, even though Booking said one was provided. The bedding and hygiene were not acceptable: our sheets were replaced with ones that had blood stains, and sometimes they weren't changed at all. For that kind of money, a lot needs fixing.

Everything we needed on holiday was nearby, with the hotel and bar right on the beach. It was a real bonus that they were completely fine with our dog staying in the room, since he travels everywhere with us. The rooms were clean, and sheets and towels were changed regularly. The staff were kind and friendly, always there for questions or help. The place is styled with so much taste, every corner feels like a little art display, especially the reception.
