We were very happy with apartment 7, a two-room place with two balconies. Mrs Thalia, thank you for everything ❤️. It's a place I'd recommend. There's a big parking area and a spacious backyard with a barbecue spot, an outdoor kitchen and a large table. The place was quiet, tidy, clean and roomy. They cleaned every day, and changed the sheets and towels every second day.

The host was welcoming, and the cleaning was done really well every day. Still, I wouldn't choose this accommodation again. It looked like a great deal, but it really wasn't. The Wi-Fi was nonexistent. I had to sit outside at the front or back of the house to get internet, and inside there was no reception at all, not even mobile service. The tap water tasted salty, and however much I showered, I still didn't feel clean. The bed squeaked whenever I turned over. Finding a parking spot in the evening was really hard, and under the olive trees there was a risk of scratching the car. The AC barely worked and blew warm air straight onto the bed, so we couldn't sleep with it on. We also couldn't cool the room while we were out, because we were only given one key. Then from around 7-8 AM, the room cleaning woke us with banging mops on the balcony rails and people moving between floors.

We chose the property for its huge garden, hoping the kids would have total freedom to play. They did get to enjoy the balcony room, with sunrises and sunsets to watch. The place is up a hill in nature, with a partial sea view. Getting there was a bit uncomfortable, and the route was dark and not clearly marked, though that seems common in Halkidiki. The room was comfortable, clean and equipped as well as possible for a pleasant stay. A few appliances were broken and need replacing, like the toaster and kettle. The bathroom shower handset was splashing, but they replaced it after we told them. The shower could also use a proper holder for the handset, ideally adjustable up and down. That would be much easier when bathing young children. There was no network access inside the room, including mobile service, not just the router. Usually that might not matter much, but if you have work to do and need internet, it's a big disadvantage.

What stood out most was how helpful the apartment owners were. They're always available, and whatever you need gets sorted with a smile. The apartments are new and clean, towels are changed regularly, the mattresses are new and protected, and the kitchen has basic cooking equipment. Internet is free and works well. You can also use washing and ironing machines in the complex. We had an apartment opening onto a spacious garden full of olive trees, where the children could play freely. It's a peaceful place, yet close enough to Pefkohori, with shops, a promenade and a medical clinic. The sea is clean and the beaches are sandy, with wide shallow areas that are great for kids. You need a car to get to the beach, usually a drive of up to 10 minutes depending on which one you pick. The nearest beach can be reached on foot, but it isn't very close. We went by car to beaches further away, which was easier with children. Everything was great.
