Samantha's husband was also welcoming and friendly when I met him midweek. They checked in often enough to make sure I was okay without being intrusive. It was an amazing holiday, and I'd go again without hesitation. I can't fault anything. I arrived at 2 am in a panic after a mix-up made it look as if I'd been double-booked. I went into Lindia Thalassa Hotel, and they called Samantha. She came over within minutes, even though she'd been asleep. She was fabulous, reassured me, gave me a hug, and said she'd sort it out. My booked apartment was available for the first night, then she kindly moved me to one of her luxury suites downstairs because of a website hiccup by a third party. The previous guests had left lots of unopened food, which she offered me straight away. That was perfect since I was visiting for a wedding on a very tight budget. The suite was immaculate and really well equipped, with plenty of good-quality crockery, cutlery, and glasses. It had a full oven, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, and full-size fridge freezer. The bedroom was huge, with clean white sheets and a slightly heavier cotton throw if you wanted more than a sheet. There was an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom was spotless too, with an amazing shower and powerful jets, plenty of good white towels and toilet rolls, and a toilet that lets you flush paper. The air conditioning worked brilliantly and cooled the rooms quickly. Blackout shutters and curtains kept the rooms cool while I was out and helped me sleep, with no slivers of sunlight getting in. They also made me feel more secure, along with the solid double-locking doors. There was a safe as well. The lounge was spacious and comfortable, with a TV there and another in the bedroom. I barely watched them, but stayed in three of my seven nights because it was so comfortable, cool, and relaxing. Out front was a small paved garden with a nice table and chairs for eating outside, plus a rack and pegs for drying clothes. A previous review was totally out of order. Maybe they had problems with the water and air conditioning during the power cuts and fires, but I don't understand how they could rate the location, service, or facilities a two. It's only 3-5 minutes to the beach, the location is very quiet, and restaurants, bars, and shops are about 5-10 minutes away. The hosts and facilities couldn't be better. Friends staying in basic accommodation popped in and were very impressed. 10/10 from me.
