Pefkos Filoxenia

Carol really made this stay special. She manages the apartments and pool bar, takes the time to get to know guests, shares information about the area, and does what she can to make your holiday a good one. We were in a ground-floor apartment facing the pool. It had everything we needed, including a safe, and was cleaned six days a week. The pool area was lovely, with enough loungers for everyone. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the resort centre, with a bit of a climb up to the main road. We stayed for two weeks in August. It wasn’t our first visit, and hopefully won’t be our last.

We really enjoyed our ten days here with the family and would recommend it. Beaches and restaurants are an easy walk away, and there’s food, snacks and drinks at the pool bar. It’s a small site with a good-sized pool that works well for both children and adults. The rooms were clean and well equipped, with good air-con. Carol, the on-site host, was very friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable.

Carol was so kind and helpful, and we loved everything she cooked! We stayed in apartment no. 10. Both rooms were comfortable, with a nice seating area in the kitchen, and there were two balconies looking onto the garden and pool, with a distant bit of sea view. The pool area was spotless, the water just the right temperature, and there were plenty of sunbeds. It was so quiet there that we usually had the pool to ourselves. Best place we’ve ever been so far!

Our original booking elsewhere was cancelled just three weeks before we were due to leave, so we ended up here for a week. It’s a lovely, quiet place, and Carol, the manager, was amazing with help on beaches, restaurants and anything else. The rooms are basic, which suited us: bathroom with shower and toilet, two single beds pushed together, two electric rings, a fridge and a sink. No TV or microwave. There’s a cafe bar by the pool run by Carol, with food, drinks and ice cream. You can walk to the main part of Pefkos in about 20 minutes, and there are bars and restaurants nearby too. One quiet beach is five minutes away, another, larger one about ten minutes on foot. It was our first time in Rhodes and we loved it. If we come back, I’d definitely stay here again.
