The place was horrendous. I'd give the rooms and service zero if I could. Some guests left early, and we would have too, but couldn't find anything else within our budget. The rooms were filthy. There were huge cobwebs in the twin bedroom and dirty lampshades in both bedrooms. One twin bed and one double bed were missing bedding, and a pillow had no case. The sheets were stained, and the bottom sheets were so thin you could see through them. The blankets were disgusting. Towels were small, rough, marked with bleach, and there were no hand towels. The towels and bedding weren't changed midweek as I was told they would be. The shower didn't work, the hose was rusty, and the screen was filthy. The wet room flooded when we showered and smelled of dirty drains. The window was locked open, so there was no privacy. The toilet bowl was stained and had faeces in it; the seat was pitted and badly stained. There were ants in the kitchen, and the toaster and camping stove were filthy. Plates and cutlery had dried food and grease on them. There were no basics for cleaning or washing up, like washing-up liquid, a dishcloth, toilet cleaner, or tea towel. The small table, about 24 by 24 inches, was the only place to prepare food. There was no TV or indoor seating apart from the beds. Hot water was switched off each night until mid-morning. The internet didn't work. The owner was very aggressive and shouted at me in front of my young grandchild when I reported the broken shower. I overheard him using abusive language about another guest, and he was arrogant and rude to my adult daughter when she asked about bus information. The place is described as peaceful and tranquil, but a bar one minute away played very loud music until 3:30 am, and my young child couldn't sleep at a sensible time. There was broken equipment in the children's play area. By the pool, two of the four communal toilets were out of order; the remaining two were filthy and had no lights. The loose halogen lights on the double headboard were also a concern. Staff didn't check in with guests after the earthquake on 3 June, when the hotel shook. The steps into the children's pool felt dangerous and insecure, and one guest fell and was shaken up. Several guests slipped on the steps into the main pool because the edges were hard to see, and the pool ladders were loose and dangerous.

The room was spotless and the pool was beautiful, with a great atmosphere around it. Staff were all so welcoming and friendly, which made the stay even better. Breakfast in the morning was one of the best I've had, especially the lovely scrambled eggs and the wide choice of other options. Absolutely amazing place in a fab location. 100% recommend.

Fantastic hotel, with a great pool and good food. The one downside is the air conditioning costs €20 a day.

The apartments were decent overall, but the owner's money-grabbing behaviour would put us off returning. We stayed 11 nights and were charged for two weeks of safe rental. When I queried it, I was told the safe could only be rented by the week. We arrived at 2:45 am, when everything was locked up, so we couldn't use either the safe or air conditioning that night, but that wasn't taken into account. At the end, I had to remind her about the €15 returnable deposit I'd paid for the safe key. We were told that paying for the air conditioning and safe by debit card would mean an extra 13% tax. That's nonsense. They wanted cash, which is untraceable and goes straight into their pocket without paperwork. Air conditioning cost €15 per night or €100 a week, and the safe was €15 a week plus a €15 key deposit. The apartments are spacious and airy, with a roomy bathroom and a properly enclosed shower. Our balcony had two chairs and a table, with a view of the sea and pool. The pool is large, has plenty of sunbeds and parasols, and there's a snack bar on site. On the downside, the toilet paper bin was emptied only once a week and the apartment was cleaned only weekly. The first bath towels were ragged and small, and there were no hand towels.
