White Olive Premium Lindos - All Inclusive

Pefkos was a great place for a relaxing stay, and this hotel is excellent value for money. We came from Embonas, and the roads leading here were beautiful. It’s quiet, away from the noise and bustle of the strip, which isn’t Ibiza anyway. The beach and the main stretch of bars are both a 5-10 minute walk, an easy stroll for families with children. It’s also a handy base for places like Lindos. Our room looked out over the pool and coastline. The staff brought our luggage up, then surprised us with a complimentary bottle of Rosé and some fruit. They were attentive and always smiling, and remembered our faces and even our room number. Maybe that’s because we stayed in October, when there are fewer holidaymakers, but it was still a lovely surprise. The hotel isn’t too big, so it’s easy to get around. There aren’t poolside waiters taking drink orders, though, and it’s quicker to go to the bar yourself. The food was medium-quality, as expected, but tasty and always warm. For a hotel this size, there was a good amount of variety, with fresh-tasting meat, fish and vegetable dishes, including spinach pie. The mains were good enough to go back for seconds. Desserts were just okay. Breakfast had a decent choice but was a little safe. The scrambled eggs were overcooked and needed seasoning. We prefer them creamy, with salt and pepper. I liked pouring my own lager and getting the hang of it. The machine coffee was good, and alternative milk was available if you asked. The included cocktails were enjoyable enough, or you could pay a little extra for a more familiar one like a Mojito. A few small things stood out. The shower screen is short, so the bathroom floor can get wet if you’re not careful. There’s no arm or handle for the second shower head, so it sits tucked behind the shower spine, perhaps that’s a Greece thing. We played tennis for free, but two of the four balls were ruptured, which took some of the fun out of it. And the caution logo on every glass pane in the main building is annoying and spoils the look a bit. We had a really good stay. I recommend the hotel, and Pefkos is a lovely destination for couples and families.

We’ve stayed here twice now, once with my son and later with my partner, and both visits were great. The hotel is quiet and relaxed, with a fantastic pool and very friendly, helpful staff. The food was excellent, with a good selection of authentic Greek dishes. It’s just minutes from a gorgeous beach, and the location is peaceful with easy access to places like Lindos. In our opinion, the only thing keeping it from being unbeatable is the hotel entertainment.

The buffet had a great selection and was better than we expected, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful, really friendly, and the hotel itself was lovely. The pool area was our main reservation: it gets very crowded, with little space between people, and some large groups took over the pool and played loud music. It wasn’t ideal for a peaceful break. That’s more a heads-up for future guests than a criticism of the hotel.

The location was lovely, close to restaurants, bars and the beach. We had a fabulous week and would definitely recommend the hotel to others. We can’t wait to return. Everyone at White Olive was welcoming, polite and helpful, and you could see how hard they worked to make our stay pleasant. The room was cleaned every day. There was a good choice of food, though breakfast felt a little repetitive. Thanks to all at White Olive for a great stay.
