If having a clean room matters to you, I'd look elsewhere.

The room itself wasn't damp, perhaps because I was upstairs, though the pillowcase and towel were dirty. Thankfully, there was a spare of each. I had to wait about half an hour to get in, but I'd booked just an hour before arriving, so I can overlook that. The WiFi password was also hard to get from them, for some reason. I'd read the other reviews and was probably influenced by them, but I have to admit I found their hygiene complaints were right. For one night it was acceptable, though I may have been judging it with that bias.

There was hot water, and Agnes was friendly. The place itself was very nice, but the basement room was damp and musty, with mold on the wall, a smelly blanket, and damp sheets. There was no ventilation, and the setting felt unsafe. We left the door open all night and slept in our own sleeping bags. The electrical equipment was old and seemed potentially dangerous in all that moisture.

We paid 240 euros for three nights, and the room was in awful shape. Ants were everywhere, especially in the kitchen, so leaving food out wasn't possible. The rooms had no doors, as they'd been taken off, and the bedroom bed was broken, propped up with what looked like bricks. The air conditioning didn't work and was very noisy. The "old lady" greeted us with irony from the start. When we raised the ants and the air conditioning, she acted surprised and said nobody had complained, then looked at us sideways. People in the village seemed to agree she was unacceptable and strange.
